GAIN celebrates 20 Years of Service To Guam
GAIN, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Marie Chenery, Karon Johnson, Tambra Maddock and Rebecca Tomzik, Janyce Prall and Val Lisenbee. In August 1990, GAIN and the Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services entered into an agreement allowing GAIN volunteers to provide animal care, food, and supplies at the government-run shelter in Yigo.
GAIN is passionately dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and the education of the public concerning animal welfare; enforcement of existing laws and implementation of pet-friendly laws. We promote spay and neuter programs and hold annual spay and neuter clinics for the low income families.

"How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these." ~George Washington Carver
